Today was the first day of the con programming (though there was already a research meeting and science programming on Thursday and Friday). Tampere-talo is a really wonderful building and there are rooms and halls for all kinds of discussions, panels, cosplay competitions, etc. Still, when I first got there, the hallways were absolutely crowded.
